As an empath and highly sensitive soul, Michelle has always been curious, feeling energies deeply, noticing subtleties often missed, most at home with the trees, ocean, birdsong. A dreamer, a seeker, celebrating her inner child through creativity, imagination and expression.
Having experienced severe anxiety, chronic fatigue and endometriosis for a significant part of her life, Michelle began looking at holistic healing approaches and modalities to support her wellbeing. In her desire to learn more Michelle also completed a Bachelor of Naturopathy & Herbal Medicine, and a Diploma in Nutrition.
It was during Reiki training however Michelle felt herself light up, knowing innately Reiki healing was a calling, to be of service and contribute positively within the collective.
For years Michelle shied away from embodying her own divine feminine power, playing smaller than her true essence, telling herself this is where she was safest. Her soul sought a greater leaning into courage, and in 2023 Michelle opened her own healing studio Soularta, nestled by the Waitakere Ranges, with offerings of Reiki and intuitive art. Michelle not only channels spoken light language but infuses her artworks with light codes in visual form.
Michelle loves to write as a form of personal expression and has written and shared many poems online and in print form, with some published. Prior to raising her family, Michelle had a career in recruitment.
Michelle believes each of us have our own guiding beacon lighting the way and often answers we seek outside reside within our own inner knowing, and she is passionate about walking alongside and supporting others on their own journeys.
