Before I became a Sound Therapist, I spent ten years working as a Graphic Designer. At the time it felt like a completely different life, but now I see how much it prepared me for the work I do today.
Immersed in colour, symbols, and imagery, I unknowingly opened the doorway to my clairvoyance. I learned to understand the psychology of colour, notice subtle details, and interpret imagery. What began as a creative skill slowly became my strongest psychic ability.
Studies show that training in the arts can sharpen the senses and strengthen the ability to interpret complex visual information. In my experience, these same skills also support clairvoyant perception.
During my Reiki Healings, Tarot, and Tea Leaf Readings, visions appear to me as colours, symbols, imagery, or even vintage films, helping me understand the energy of my clients. This reminds me of the work of artists like Georgiana Houghton and Hilma af Klint, who used imagery as a way to express their intuitive insights.
These skills now support me not only in healing but also in helping others bring their soul-led business to life. At The Healing Room, I also offer a Brand Support Package for practitioners who want their brand expressed with clarity and beauty, a full-circle moment where design and spirituality meet.
Design was my first language of visual communication; clairvoyance became the next. Both are about seeing what wants to be revealed and translating it into something others can understand.
Looking back, I realise nothing was separate. Every path I’ve walked has prepared me to see more clearly, both with the physical eye and the psychic one. The merging of creativity and clairvoyance allows me to truly meet my clients where they are, to sense their energy, understand their story, and offer healing and guidance that supports them on their journey.
